The Standard
What is Unlimitime?
Unlimitime is an independent certification standard for pre-owned luxury watches. Each watch is examined in person against 99 published criteria, documented in a Report and recorded in REGISTRY.
What is the difference between authentication and the Unlimitime Standard?
Authentication answers one question at one moment: is the watch genuine. The Standard also documents condition, originality, documentation and provenance, and keeps the record with the watch over time.
Who examines the watch?
A watchmaker examines it in person. The findings are then checked by the Unlimitime analysis protocol and validated by an Unlimitime expert.
Which watches can be examined?
Pre-owned luxury watches of any brand.
What happens before the examination?
The watch is checked against international stolen and lost watch databases, the identity of the person presenting it is verified, and an intake video is recorded. If a check is not passed, no Report is issued.
Examinations and pricing
Where can I have my watch examined?
In person, in Dubai. Examination dates will be announced shortly; you can register your interest now.
How long does it take?
The examination takes 30 to 60 minutes. The Report is issued once the findings are validated.
How much does it cost?
Per watch: Core $650, Signature $1,400, Ultra $2,500. There is no subscription. For collections, contact us.
What is the difference between Core, Signature and Ultra?
The levels are cumulative. Core examines 33 criteria, Signature 66 and Ultra all 99. Ultra adds forensic examination and the option of custody in a secure vault.
The Report and REGISTRY
What happens to the Report when the watch is sold?
The Report is attached to the watch in REGISTRY, not to its owner. It passes to the new owner with the watch.
Who can see my information?
The public layer only shows that a Report exists, with its level, date and status. Details are shared with insurers, banks or buyers only with your consent. Your identity stays confidential.
Can a Report change?
A Report is never overwritten. A new examination or service adds a dated version to the record.
How do I verify a Report?
Scan its QR code or enter its number on the Verify a Report page. No account is needed.
Independence
Does Unlimitime buy or sell watches?
No. Unlimitime does not buy, sell or broker watches and takes no commission on any transaction.
Is SCORE a valuation?
No. SCORE is an independent market reference that combines documented condition with market data. It is not an offer or a guarantee of price.
Who is behind Unlimitime?
Unlimitime LLC, a company registered in the United States. Examinations are carried out in person, with the first sessions held in Dubai.
